A single office, hostel, canteen or reseller can be worth more than fifty walk-in customers. Bulk buyers order predictably, pay on schedule and rarely haggle once they trust your supply. If you already hold stock, selling in bulk is the fastest way to raise revenue without raising marketing spend.
Start by deciding which lines you can genuinely supply at scale. Atta, rice, cooking oil, pulses, sugar, tea, cleaning supplies, disposables and packaged snacks all move well in bulk. Perishables can work too, but only if your cold chain and turnaround are reliable — a failed bulk delivery costs you the account, not just the order.
Set tiered pricing rather than one flat rate. A common structure in Pakistan is retail price for one unit, 8-12% off at carton quantity, and 15-20% off at 10 cartons or more. Publish the tiers openly on your listing. Buyers comparing suppliers will pick the one whose pricing they can work out without a phone call.
Set a minimum order value for wholesale and be honest about lead time. If a 50kg order needs a day's notice, say so. Bulk buyers plan ahead and will accept a stated lead time; what they will not accept is a surprise on delivery day.
Prepare for the paperwork. Businesses buying from you often need an invoice with your NTN and clear line items, especially offices and registered companies. Having this ready separates you from the informal competition immediately.
