Fleet dispatch (Delivero's /fleet-dispatch-software) focuses on work orders, job assignment and field service management. Fleet management focuses on the vehicles themselves — their location, maintenance, fuel, insurance and utilisation. Many businesses need both: dispatch to manage what the vehicles are doing, fleet management to keep the vehicles running.

Do I need special hardware for GPS tracking?

For basic GPS tracking via the Delivero rider app, no hardware is needed — riders use their phone. For hardwired vehicle telematics (which also captures engine data, harsh braking and fuel consumption from sensors), optional hardware devices are available. Can I track both motorcycles and vehicles?

Yes. Delivero supports any vehicle type — motorcycles, cars, vans, trucks and heavy vehicles. Each vehicle type can have different maintenance schedules, compliance document requirements and performance benchmarks. A mixed fleet is managed under the same account and map view.

How does the maintenance alert system work?

You define a maintenance schedule per vehicle — for example, oil change every 5,000 km or every 3 months, whichever comes first. The system tracks actual mileage from GPS and calendar time. When either threshold is approaching, alerts are sent to the vehicle's assigned manager and driver. You log the completed service and the schedule resets.

What compliance documents can I track?

Vehicle registration (with expiry), third-party insurance, comprehensive insurance, fitness certificate, route permits, vehicle tax and any custom documents your organisation requires. For drivers, you can also track CNIC, driving licence, medical certifications and training certificates — all with automated expiry alerts.

Can I see a vehicle's full history?

Yes. Every vehicle has a complete history log — all routes driven, GPS positions, speed readings, maintenance events, document uploads, fuel logs and driver assignments. You can replay any past journey on a map and export the full history for compliance audits or insurance claims.

How does fuel tracking work without a hardware sensor?

Drivers log fuel fills via the app — date, amount in litres and cost. The system calculates fuel consumption based on GPS-tracked distance between fills and shows consumption per km per vehicle. While hardware fuel sensors are more precise, app-based fuel logging catches most anomalies and is significantly simpler to deploy.

Is there a minimum fleet size?

No minimum. Delivero's fleet management works for a 5-vehicle restaurant delivery fleet and a 5,000-vehicle enterprise logistics operation. Pricing scales with the number of vehicles managed.

Can I integrate fleet management with my existing operations software?
